Impressive young Kawasaki rider Tony Coombs has signed with MSS Colchester Kawasaki to run in the well established MRO Stocksport Championship, with wild card rides in the Metzeler National Superstock series running alongside the British Superbike Championship.

The twenty year old rider from Waltham Cross continues his impressive racing career after overall victory in the Thundersport series and a close fought runner-up position in  the 2009 MRO Supersport 600 Championship. Coombs plans to use next season as an important learning year before he takes on a full season in the Metzeler National Superstock series.

With the help of Ian Stewart (Colchester Kawasaki) and Nick Morgan (MSS), Tony will be supplied with a new Kawasaki ZX-6R with a high-level of support throughout the year. MSS Colchester Kawasaki see Tony as an important part of their ongoing racing programme which stretches from club racing through to the Isle of Man TT and British Superbike.

Tony Coombs enthused, ”The Kawasaki is the best bike I have ever ridden. It not only steers and handles perfectly, it goes like a train too!”

MSS Colchester Kawasaki Team Owner, Nick Morgan said, ”We are delighted to be involved with Tony for next year in the MRO championship.
